
Meredith Snow, a native of Long Island, NY, received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from The Juilliard School, where she studied viola with Paul Doktor and Samuel Rhodes.
A former member of the Colorado String Quartet, Snow performed with that ensemble throughout the United States, Europe, and South America. She has participated in the Tanglewood, Aspen, and Marlboro Music festivals.
After three seasons with the San Francisco Opera Orchestra, in 1986 she became a member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. There, she served as the LA Phil delegate to the International Conference of Symphony and Opera Musicians (ICSOM), becoming a member at large to the Governing Board in 2006, and ultimately serving seven years as ICSOM Chairperson.
Snow lives in the San Fernando Valley and enjoys reading, yoga, bicycling, and playing chamber music.
