On Sunday, August 14 at Local 47, we will meet to discuss next steps. Dinner will be served at 6pm, and the panel discussion will begin at 7pm, followed by Q&A from the audience. This in-person event will also be live streamed via Zoom.
The panel will include AFM and Local 47 staff as well as Contract Action Team Committee chairs. Come and find out the state of “new media” and the threat it poses to musicians’ livelihoods. Our panel will present the data on made-for-streaming projects and details on the residual we’re fighting for in the upcoming negotiations. Extensive Q&A to follow. Make your voice heard!
