Update 2/22/2024:

It has been brought to the Local’s attention that the contractor for the “La Boheme” performance at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert on February 26 is circulating misleading information, and the Local would like to clarify.

The Union has NOT in any way approved this NON-UNION job. Our awareness of the situation should in NO way be construed as approval.

Please note that the contractor is NOT the employer. They are involved in a separate project, for which they have expressed an interest in a collective bargaining agreement in the future. But they are NOT THE EMPLOYER for Monday’s performance.

Hopefully, this employer will return to bargaining and sign an agreement with Local 47. But until or unless that occurs, there is no Union agreement.
