For advice on hygiene and preventing the spread of COVID-19, observe the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the prevention of catching and spreading germs here. Additionally, the Professional Musicians Local 47 and Employers’ Health & Welfare Fund offers these precautionary guidelines.

If you are feeling unwell, please contact your employer right away and follow the safety precautions as outlined at the links above.

Regarding contractual matters, if one of your engagements is canceled or you are unable to work due to COVID-19 or any other illness, please check your contract to review the cancellation policy and to review any force majeure provisions that may apply.
