Ensemble 2.0 Login FAQ

Welcome to Ensemble 2.0 (aka "E2"), AFM Local 47’s new cloud-based member and contract database.

(If you've already read through the instructions below and activated your account, log in here.


How do I log in?

Login instructions will differ depending on your relationship with Local 47.



To access your existing online member account, you will need to use our brand-new login system, which replaces the previous WebID system. Now you will be able to create your own username instead of having to use a pre-assigned WebID, as well as access many additional features in your new profile. Here’s how to get started:

1. Navigate to the “Reset Password” page

2. Input your email address (the same one on file with Local 47), last 4 digits of your SSN, legal first name, and legal last name.

3. You will receive a reset email in your inbox; follow the reset link in that email and reset your password. Please write this down in a safe place. The email message will also provide you with your username (which you may change once you log in).

Important Note: If you already have an account with Local 47 but do not have a current email on file, you will not be able to log in without staff assistance. If you need to add a new, or update an old, email address, please send a message to directory@afm47.org, and a staff member will reach out with you to confirm your ability to log in.



1. To create a new account, navigate to the “Sign Up” page

2. Input your information and click the "Sign Up" button.

3. You will receive an email confirmation in your inbox.

If you are still unable to create a user profile or access your existing account, please note the error message you receive (take a screenshot, if possible) and send an email to E2Help@afm47.org.

How do I update my information?

All users can update contact and personal information, including: username, email address, mailing address, phone number, instruments, stage name, and emergency contact. You can also opt in or out of paperless billing, email blasts, and other mailings. To update your personal information:

1. Log in to your account at ensemble.afm47.org

2. Click the "Menu" icon (3 horizontal lines) in the upper left corner and select "My Profile."’

3. Navigate to the tab(s) you wish to update (Personal Data, Emergency Contact, Instruments, etc.). Update your information and click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of each page.

Once you have updated information in your profile, you do not need to contact the office to confirm the changes, as they will take effect immediately in our system.

Note: Users cannot update Social Security number, birth date, member status, beneficiary information, or membership dates (join date, expulsion date, etc.). If you see an error in this information, please email membership@afm47.org.

How do I change my password, or update my communication preferences

All users will be able to update how you wish to interact with Local 47, including enrolling for paperless Work Dues Statements and Membership Invoices, and opting in/out of Local 47 emails. Users can also update passwords on this page. To make changes:

1. Log in to your account at ensemble.afm47.org

2. Click the "Update Password / My Contact Preferences" button underneath your avatar image on the top right of the screen on a PC (or scroll down to see this option on mobile).

3. Make your selections and click the "Update" button to save your preferences, and/or the "Change Password" button to confirm a password update.

Once you have updated information in your profile, you do not need to contact the office to confirm the changes, as they will take effect immediately in our system.

Who do I contact with questions about the amount I owe?

If you have any questions regarding Membership Dues, please contact membership@afm47.org.

If you have questions regarding Work Dues, please contact the department that manages the contract under which the job was performed:
- Live stage/concert performance: live@afm47.org
- TV/Videotape (live television performance): livetv@afm47.org
- Sound Recording session: soundrecording@afm47.org

I’m worried about my personal information being in the cloud. Is Ensemble 2.0 (E2) secure?

Ensemble 2.0 is hosted on Microsoft’s Azure platform. The Azure platform implements various security measures to ensure the safety of user data and operations. This includes encryption of data at rest and in transit, multi-factor authentication, network security groups, identity and access management controls, regular security updates and patches, compliance certifications, and advanced threat detection systems. Additionally, Microsoft invests heavily in cybersecurity research and employs a dedicated team of experts to continually monitor and enhance the platform's security posture. This platform is far safer and more secure than the older, in-house servers that Local 47 has used for many years.

How do I report technical issues?

Send an email noting all pertinent information (nature of issue, device and OS used, any error message received, etc.) to E2Help@afm47.org.
