Welcome to Our New Look for February Overture
|
This month we’re introducing a new slimmed down version of Overture, making it easier to highlight the most important news from Local 47. We hope you enjoy this work in progress. We are also in the process of redesigning our website to better feature our members and their work. Check it out at www.afm47.org/press and let us know what you think.

In this edition of Overture, we’re sending a big shoutout to our Grammy-winning members. With February being Black History month, we are featuring a terrific story on LA’s Black musicians and their contributions to the rhythms of our city. And of course, Local 47 participated in the city’s famous MLK Day Parade. And finally, Local 47’s new President, Marc Sazer, has started a new program: AMA, Ask Me Anything, a monthly zoom where members are free to get answers to their most pressing questions. Enjoy!
