Alto\/Tenor Saxophone<br \/>\n9\/5\/1929 &#8211; 12\/17\/2020<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by Jean Deremo<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For any former \u2014 surviving &#8211; big band musicians and friends who have many fond memories of it all \u2014 circa 1940s, \u201850s, \u201860s.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please remember a most talented, fine musician from those eras, Charles H. Deremo \u2014 tenor sax\/flute (known to most all of us as Charlie!).<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He passed to \u201cthe Big Band in the Sky\u201d at age 91 on December 17, 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He will be loved and remembered forever, by his forgotten family\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two sons \u2014 Alan and Dirk Deremo.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Alice Deremo.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And, of course, Jean (Jeani) Deremo.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTRUE LOVE IS FOREVER\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8894 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/afm47.org\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/tenor-sax-notes-300x279.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"279\" srcset=\"https:\/\/afm47.org\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/tenor-sax-notes-300x279.png 300w, https:\/\/afm47.org\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/tenor-sax-notes.png 596w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former Life Member.
