Photo:\u2008Kevin Parry<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Oregon Shakespeare Festival production of hit musical \u201cInto the Woods\u201d\u2008took Beverly Hills by storm during its run at the new Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Majkut conducted a small, talented orchestra contracted by Dan Savant comprising AFM members from Los Angeles and Oregon. The musicians were featured front and center on the stage during the entire three-hour performance.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, \u201cInto the Woods\u201d is a modern and notably darker twist on classic fairy tales, and everyone from Rapunzel to Little Red Riding Hood makes an appearance.
