Siddhartha Khosla is an award-winning film and television composer, AFM Local 47<\/a> member, and singer\/songwriter\/producer of the critically acclaimed band Goldspot. He currently scores NBC\u2019s hit Golden Globe and Emmy-winning drama series \u201cThis Is Us\u201d starring Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, and Sterling K. Brown. <\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cThis is Us Original Score\u201d soundtrack was released earlier this year and debuted on the iTunes Top Soundtrack Chart. Khosla composed the hit song \u201cWe Can Always Come Back To This,\u201d which ranked #12 on iTunes Top 100 songs and #1 in the Billboard Blues Charts for four consecutive weeks. The song earned him an award nomination from the Guild of Music Supervisors for Best Song\/Recording for Television. Following the show\u2019s season two finale, the \u201cThis is Us (Music from the Series) Season 2\u201d soundtrack was released and included the song \u201cI Got You Babe\u201d by Goldspot.<\/p>\n

Khosla recently gave an interview on NPR\u2019s World Cafe<\/a> with Talia Schlanger, who writes:<\/p>\n

Siddhartha Khosla has tiptoed into the tear ducts of millions of Americans. He\u2019s done it with such delicate genius that even if you\u2019ve invited the cast of This Is Us<\/em><\/a> into your living room weekly since the show began, you might not have noticed Siddhartha enter along with them. But to watch the show is to feel his presence and to experience both his heart and his own sense of family.<\/p>\n

Siddhartha composes the original score for This Is Us<\/em>. In a show with epic on-screen performances and gut-wrenching drama, the music could easily have been massive. But it\u2019s not. That\u2019s why I was so interested to speak with Siddhartha about his musical choices. They\u2019re simple motifs that often begin with acoustic guitar, hummed vocals and the sound of him tapping on a table.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
