Each year ILCA holds a Labor Media Contest which serves to recognize outstanding work in print, blogs, radio, video, and online communications efforts in the field of labor journalism.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Over the years our print members-only publication&nbsp;<em>Overture<\/em>&nbsp;has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades from a judge panel of labor journalists around the nation. In recent years we have added electronic publications to our communications roster, including our bimonthly email newsletter&nbsp;<em>The Local 47 Beat<\/em>, and digital&nbsp;<em>Overture Online App<\/em>&nbsp;offered free to the public each month, and our ongoing&nbsp;<em>47 Blog<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">2018 Awards<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2022 Visual Communications \u2013 Best Front Page\/Cover \u2013 Magazine (Print)<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/afm47.org\/awards\/2017_07_Summer_-_YOLA_Turns_10-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Overture Magazine \u2013 YOLA Turns 10<\/a>&nbsp;&#8211; 2nd Place&nbsp;<br \/>\nAwarded to Linda A.
