This important informational meeting will offer an opportunity to learn more about the referendum and to have any questions answered.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Nine (9) members are needed to constitute a quorum for this Special Meeting of the Musicians&#8217; Club of Los Angeles.\u00a0Please note: <u>There will be no voting at this meeting<\/u>. Ballots will be mailed on or around Oct. 9.<\/p>\n<p>Visit the new\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/timeisnow47.org\" target=\"_blank\">TimeIsNow47.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0website\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2\"><strong>Dates to Remember:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444; font-family: 'lucida sans unicode', 'lucida grande', sans-serif;\"><strong>Oct. 1 &#8211; Voter Eligibility Cutoff<\/strong><br \/>\nRegular, Life, and Youth members of Local 47 in good standing as of the cutoff date will receive a ballot by mail to vote in the referendum.\u00a0You may verify your member status by calling 323.462.2161.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Please note: Inactive Life Members<\/em><em>\u00a0are not eligible to vote in the referendum.\u00a0Any Inactive Life Member who wishes to be restored to full Active Life Member status, and pays the difference between full Active Life Membership Periodic Dues and Inactive Life Membership Periodic Dues for the year by Oct. 1, 2015, will become eligible to vote and receive a ballot for this referendum.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oct. 5 &#8211; Special Meeting<\/strong><br \/>\nAll members are encouraged to attend an informational Special Meeting for a presentation and Q&amp;A on the referendum &amp; its importance to the future of AFM Local 47: Monday, October 5, 7:30pm @ Serena Kay &amp; Earl Williams Auditorium.
