‘Tis the Season: Spread Joy With a Toy!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The holidays are approaching rapidly, and thousands of families will have to decide whether to buy food, pay rent, or keep the heat on in their homes during the winter nights. Without our help, many of our union sisters, brothers and siblings will be unable to afford holiday presents for their children.<\/p>\n

AFM Local 47 is proud to once again participate in the annual Holiday Toy Drive & Food Distribution<\/a> organized by Labor Community Services, the nonprofit arm of the LA County Federation of Labor. Please donate a toy and bring a smile to a child’s face this holiday season! Find the donation box downstairs in our Rehearsal Rooms space.<\/p>\n

We will be accepting new unwrapped toys through December 15<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>The LCS distrubition event will take place Saturday, December 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the LA County Federation of Labor headquarters,\u00a02130 James M Wood Blvd. in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

If planning to drop off a toy in person, please note that our normal business hours are M-F, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To review our special holiday hours, please check our calendar<\/a> or call 323.462.2161 to ensure we are open to accept your generous donation!
