During our General Membership Meeting we will be sharing important information about available disaster relief. We encourage all members to attend so that we may better understand members&#8217; specific needs, as well as musicians&#8217; availability to assist with providing outreach and support to our communities. If you have not yet done so, please fill out our&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/afm47.org\/wildfiresurvey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wildfire Response Survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Executive Board has submitted 2 Resolutions to amend the Bylaws to be voted upon at our January 27 meeting, both recommended for a YES vote by the Legislative Committee. The Resolutions concern (1) the creation of an Organizing Department to be administered by our new Director of Organizing, Ed Gutierrez \u2014 who will be available to meet with members during and after the meeting&nbsp;\u2014 and (2) instituting Work Dues payments of all Local 47 Officers (Titled Officers, Directors, Trustees and Hearing Officers) to pay Work Dues based on their salaries in these positions.<\/p>\n<p>Members may view the full text of the two Resolutions by logging in to your online account at <a href=\"https:\/\/ensemble.afm47.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ensemble.afm47.org<\/a>, selecting DOCUMENTS, and clicking the link under the \u201cResolution to Amend the Bylaws\u201d ribbon.
